<p>The current stable release of Skencil runs on many platforms.
Here are a few where users have reported to run Skencil on.
It is expected that it will run on many more.

<li>GNU/Linux on i386, Alpha, m68k, PowerPC and Sparc,</li>
<li>FreeBSD</li>
<li>Mac OS X (you need an X11 server)</li>
<li>Solaris 8, 9</li>
</ul>

<p>The <a href="devel.html">developer series</a> should work on any platform
where you can run Python, GTK+ version 2, Python Imaging Library and LibArt.</p>
